With Spider-Man being a success for the PlayStation 5, there has been radio silence regarding a much-anticipated action title from Insomniac Games in Marvel's Wolverine.
On April 3rd, the studio responded to replies on Twitter/X about the status of the game, where they replied they aren't ready share anything:
We're actively working on Marvel's Wolverine for PS5. We'll share news about the game when we are ready to share it. That will always be our answer. We can't act on everything requested when things take time, resources, and the greenlight to share them.

Marvel's Wolverine was initially revealed at 2021's PlayStation Showcase. It could be a case of revealing something far too early, and granted, this was still around the period of some stricter lockdown laws in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic that shut down most of the productive workforce. there could also be an instance of the huge Rhysida data breach Insomniac was victim of in 2023 set the studio back a huge degree. Materials infiltrated included resources for Marvel's Wolverine, such as animation, model testing, character details, and the plot.
Along with two Spider-Man games (and the Miles Morales expansion), Insomniac is known for their critically acclaimed work on Ratchet & Clank, Song of the Deep, and Sunset Overdrive. Marvel's Wolverine currently has no planned release date.
