Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road aims to be Level-5's most ambitious game in the series to date. After seeing a few delays since its reveal in 2023 and its 2024 perceived release date rolled back, the soccer-based role-playing game appears to be nearing its completion. The Ni No Kuni developer confirms an online live stream presentation, Inazuma Eleven V HEROES SHOWCASE, scheduled for April 11th, 2025. According to the Five Star Workshop development blog, the showcase will not spoil any character or story elements, it's designed to highlight the game's final specs and its official release date.

As Level-5 seems committed to international releases for their software, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is one of several marquee projects they have in the works, along with Decapolice (which does not have a release window as of this writing), Professor Layton and the World of Steam (a 2025 projected release), and Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. The production of the new Fantasy Life title may have an effect on the launch of Victory Road, according to the development blog, as Keiji Inafune has departed from Level-5.

"As for the release date, well...let's just say it might slip just a tiny bit due to the ripple effects of Fantasy Life i," Akihiro Hino, CEO of LEVEL-5 stated. "I'm sorry. But rest assured, we believe the final date will be one that players can look forward to."

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is scheduled to launch in June 2025 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PS4, Android, iOS, and Microsoft Windows.
