PlayStation 5's highly acclaimed 30th anniversary was a fun, yet fleeting window for Sony fans. The hardware, embodying the look and style of the original 1995 PlayStation, was incredibly sought-after, but was in very limited quantities. Resellers can also demand a high price.

Some good news for collectors, the 30th Anniversary DualSense controller will have a limited restock. This was revealed in a post on PlayStation's official Facebook page. Through direct.playstation.com, you will have a chance to pre-order one of these elusive controllers, scheduled to release September 9th, 2025. If you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, pre-orders will go live July 21st (limit to one per customer, according to Engadget). For the general public, it will be July 23rd. At the time of this writing, it isn't known if this offer will remain exclusive to the PlayStation online store.

PlayStation UK and PlayStation Canada are planning on restocking the 30th Anniversary PS5 consoles. The PS5 DualSense controllers will not be the only items you can purchase via the PlayStation Store. Revealed during the Ghost of Yōtei PlayStation Direct, special edition PlayStation 5 consoles will be available for pre-orders soon.
