REPORT: McDonald's And Xbox Brings In-game Rewards For Overwatch, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Forza Horizon 6, Celebrating Xbox's 25th Anniversary In UK And Ireland

Collab coming to the UK and Ireland
Remember when Xbox and Taco Bell had a hearty partnership throughout Microsoft's family of game systems throughout the 2000's and the 2010's? Well, Xbox has found a new dance partner, as Team Green collaborates with the Golden Arches to bring in-game rewards for their key franchises to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Xbox platform.
According to IGN, this cross-promotion, which will bring in-game rewards in select Xbox games and specialty McDonald's menu items, will be coming to the United Kingdom and Ireland. As of this writing, there is no reporting that this special promotion will be available in other parts of the world, so for now the US will miss out until further notice. The games involved to receive the good are Halo: Campaign Evolved, Fallout 76, Overwatch, Candy Crush Saga, Forza Horizon 6, and World of Warcraft. The items can be earned through side missions on the McDonald's app.
The items for the respective games are as follows:
Halo: Campaign Evolved — Master Chief Armour
Forza Horizon 6 — Car Voucher
Fallout 76 — Sugar Bomb Bundle
Candy Crush Saga — Booster Bundle
World of Warcraft — Red Hot Portable Bakery
Overwatch — Kiriko Donut Break Emote
"Gaming is all about imagination and the worlds we love to get lost in," says SVP and Chief Marketing Officer for McDonald's UK and Ireland Tim Kenward. "What excites me about this partnership is that we're bringing parts of these iconic gaming worlds to life, giving fans the chance to experience food they have only ever seen on screen. As a huge Fallout fan, I'm most excited for the Blamco Cheesy Potato Bites."
