The 2006 action RPG has returned. Developed by Bethesda, in partnership with Virtuos, who have garnered a reputation for their work in remasters like Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Dark Souls Remastered, and Assassin's Creed Liberation Remasters. It hits storefronts on the PlayStation 5, Steam, and is able to access with Xbox Play Anywhere lets you play across multiple platforms.
Oblivion retains the same gameplay, now witk 4K resolution, brand new textures, and 60 frames per second performance, and new dynamic lighting effects. Along with new updated weather and environmental effects, there are also updated weapon and magical animations.

The Remastered Deluxe Edition adds unique weapon, horse, and armor sets, bonus quests, a digital art book, and the official soundtrack. Information about the Oblivion Remaster originally came to light during the FTC v Microsoft case from 2023, at which the Federal Trade Commission sought to block Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard King.
