Yacht Club Games Announce Mina The Hollower To Launch In The Fall Of 2025

Yacht Club Games is returning with what looks like another certified classic action adventure game. Announced during Summer Games Fest 2025, it's been revealed that Mina the Hollower will see a launch day in 2025, following several years of development. From the team that produced the crowdfunding sensation, Shovel Knight, Mina the Hollower blends Castlevania with The Legend of Zelda, combined with beautiful sprite work.

Genius inventor Mina begins an excursion to discover why the Spark Generators she invented have stopped working. Armed with daggers, whips, and a unique means of fast tunneling travel called "Hollowing", Mina makes her way through an isometric maps inspired with gothic horror undertones.

Following the success of Shovel Knight, Mina the Hollower began as a side project Yacht Club Games titled Gothic, designed by employee Alek Faulkner with inspiration from Game Boy Color-styled titles. On February 2nd 2022, the official Kickstarter launched, raising USD$1,239,584 from 21,439 backers, with additional crowdfunding bringing the total to over USD$1,400,000.

Mina the Hollower is planned to launch October 31st 2025 for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PS4, and Windows.
