With Genshin Impact finally making its leap to the Xbox platform last year, Cognosphere/Hoyoverse now expands its library with the upcoming addition of Zenless Zone Zero. From the Xbox.com:

Zenless Zone Zero is HoYoverse's brand-new urban fantasy ARPG. Here, contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a calamity known as "Hollows." They appear out of thin air, creating spatial anomalies filled with formidable monsters — "Ethereals." Amidst this overwhelming catastrophe, New Eridu, the last metropolis that survived the apocalypse, has risen against the odds by harnessing the technology and resources necessary to fight the Hollow disaster, gradually evolving into human civilization's last beacon of hope.

In New Eridu, you step into the shoes of a Proxy, a professional specialized in navigating the dangerous Hollows, guiding those who, for various reasons, need to venture inside. You will embark on an adventure with unique characters to explore Hollows, battle formidable enemies, complete commissions, and learn about the mysteries behind the city.

With 50 million downloads, ZZZ may not have reached the heights of Genshin Impact, but the free-to-play Action RPG has received worldwide acclaim for its character designs, story, and responsive, rapid-fire gameplay that separates itself from the aforementioned and Honaki Star Rail. Game Pass Ultimate benefits include free Polychromes and Dennies (the two forms of in-game currency used to recharge your batteries and level-up material) with each major update. Time will tell if Honkai Star Rail also make the leap to Xbox. This has been quite the change in Xbox's mission statement, as originally they passed on the opportunity to include Cognosphere games on their platform. With the global success each game has been in the last four years, one can see why the minds would be changed.

Zenless Zone Zero can be added to your Xbox wishlist, and will launch in June 2025.
